| The Monkeypod wood (Samanea Saman) was introduced by Jeffrey at the 2006 GAL Convention in Tacoma, Washington. This wood normally is used for bowl turning and handicrafts that are found mostly in many tropical countries in Asia. Jeffrey’s guitar was awarded the Best Guitar at the Blind Test Listening session. This guitar was made entirely from the Monkeypod wood, which includes the top sound board. | ||||||||
